What to Expect at our Pointe Shoe Fittings

At j’ai la pointe - Got the Pointe, we take pointe shoes very seriously. It is important for dancers to be trained well before they purchase pointe shoes. This is why we request teacher approval before a first time fitting. 

Please allow an hour for a first time fitting and up to a half hour for returning fittings. 

Dancers please come in a leotard and tights so we can ensure proper alignment and the best fit. 

It sounds crazy but please trim your toenails before the fitting. This helps all of us.
