Upgraded and improved from previous generations made for other brands, this pointe shoe is tapered with long wings and a high crown. Best suited for dancers with fuller forefronts and well as very compressible feet that taper when on pointe.
The more tapered shoe for this type of foot help support the foot laterally and not allowed it to sink.
Pleated pointe shoes have higher crowns due to the traditional turn-shoe method of construction. The shanks and soles are attached using nails and glue.
